Valladolid, Yucatán a martes 13 de noviembre de 2018.- Con la participación de más de 200 civiles, bomberos, paramédicos, elementos del 20 Regimiento de Caballería Motorizada, policía municipal, federal y protección civil, se llevó a cabo un ejercicio de simulacro interinstitucional antiterrorismo.
Teniendo como fin la prevención de situaciones que pongan en riesgo a la ciudadanía como explosiones, bombas y accidentes químicos, en punto de las 11 de la mañana, funcionarios públicos desalojaron el Palacio Municipal ante la alerta de simulacro de bomba o explosión.
Contando con la guía de Protección civil y elementos policiacos, las personas salieron del edificio en un tiempo de 2 minutos con 40 segundos.
Inmediatamente, la Policía Municipal, Estatal y Federal acordonó los alrededores del lugar y cerró la vialidad de las calles que rodean el centro histórico para mantener a salvo a los ciudadanos que se encontraban cerca del centro de la ciudad.
Siguiendo con el protocolo, después de alejar a los civiles del peligro, una tropa de equipo táctico del ejército accedió al inmueble para identificar y neutralizar el artefacto. Paramédicos de la SSP, auxiliaron a los heridos del simulacro que tuvo una duración de 40 minutos, desde la llamada de alerta hasta dejar el lugar libre de cualquier amenaza.
Durante esta actividad se contó con el apoyo del Departamento de bomberos que llevó 1 vehículo oficial, 4 elementos y 2 unidades de ambulancias de la SSP, mientras que por parte de la Secretaría de la Defensa Nacional asistieron 21 elementos de la tropa, 1 can entrenado para la detección de artefactos explosivos, 5 vehículos oficiales y un equipo antibombas.
Por su parte, el Hospital General se encontraba listo con el área de choque con ventilador y carro rojo, personal disponible en urgencias, terapia intensiva, cirugía general y ortopedia, bajo la supervisión de la M.C Lorena Barradas Rodríguez.
La Policía Municipal estuvo presente con 15 policías, 1 ambulancia, 2 patrullas y 3 motocicletas, todo coordinado por el comandante Jorge Luis Flores Escalante. La Policía Federal participó con 3 elementos y 2 unidades, y la Policía Estatal con 2 vehículos oficiales y 4 elementos policiacos.
